Hi and welcome to our personal finance and lifestyle blog! We created this blog in order to improve our finance, write about our travels, keep track of our goals, and to show readers the beauty of Belize along the way.
The end goal is to “retire” by January 1st 2028 in my family’s home land of Belize.
I am 32, have visited 12 countries so far, and am interested of not having to work in the States in 8 years. My Wife is 30 (soon to be 31 – Happy Birthday Boo!), a college grad, and is in the selection process of choosing a law school.
We are young, newly weds ready to tackle this early retirement goal. Along the way we want to show the world the beautiful country of Belize. We want readers to see the journey of becoming an ex pat. Post about the difficulties of saving for the said goal. Allow you all to read about the challenges for us to leave all that they know, leave the securities of this great country, and forge a new life in a developing country that hopefully welcomes us with open arms.
